Very disappointed with the amount of kunafa pistachio spread on my waffle. The sides didnt even have any spread, and this costs $3.20. Taste was ok and not amazing, but way too stingy. Was excited to try it, but never again.
I had peanut butter waffle but the spreading was very thin. I asked for the waffle to be slightly more soft as I prefer it that way. Cashier staff didn’t not response for the first time and I spoke in Chinese. Still no response. When I saw that it is my turn, I told the staff who is at the waffle station to prepare my waffle softer and she agreed. Well.. I got my crispy waffle instead.. P.s. I can see that the waffle station staff is very very new Staff service and food is not up to standard, please look into it
I generally don't eat any kinds of bread as I find the buns and cakes sold by majority of the commonly seen bakeries are below standard - hard texture, loaded with unhealthy ingredients such as processed food, overly sweet, not filling to the stomach + over priced. However, their delicious mochi bread is one of the few buns I would eat. Very unique mochi, sweet potato or yam fillings and not overly sweet (I like Gokoku's Chocolate bun, Provence's Milkpan too, Four Leaves' Snow Blanc, Yamazaki's Garlic Cream Cheese / wholemeal loaf too!). Still good but price has increased, from $2 plus to $3 each now.
