Today at your SingPost branch, I had an argument with the female employee selling pastries at your counter. Although she apologized afterward, I feel I should still report this incident to improve service standards. Around 3:30 PM this afternoon, I went to buy pastries. A female customer ahead of me wanted to buy 40, and the clerk discussed it with her for nearly 20 minutes, even going to the refrigerator several times to check. I didn't disturb them; only when she asked me to pay did I say I needed one more pastry before they could give it to me, and that I had been waiting a long time. This clearly displeased her, and she was visibly agitated and impatient while packing and collecting my money. I asked her why she was so rude and lacked the manners expected of a service worker. She replied, "Do you expect me to take off my mask and smile at you?" I said I didn't need her to smile at me; her body language showed she was very impatient and treated people buying 40 pastries differently from those buying 4. Furthermore, I felt that simply saying "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting" could have avoided this unpleasant situation. I think her service quality needs improvement.
