[8 Feb 25] Still Taste as good after so many years. Best Penang Laksa in town, fresh with diced cucumber, torch ginger flower, onion slices, mint leaves, fish toppings and other spices, not too much Assam sourness but enough to widen you taste bud. Even the specially packed take away keeps the ingredients fresh and easy to heat up the soup to serve warm. Must try lah. Best to go in the afternoon.

I'm sorry to hear that. You mentioned: "I’m going to close it." As a devoted fan of Penang Laksa, I recently Googled "Best Penang Laksa in Singapore" and discovered a hidden gem. The stall I visited not only met but exceeded my expectations—it truly transported me back to Penang ! Every ingredient was fresh, fresh, fresh—the broth, the herbs, the noodles—all bursting with authenticity. The owner (a warm, kind, and sincere lady) made the experience unforgettable. You have to try it to believe it! For comparison, I also tried a Michelin Guide Penang Laksa stall in somewhere who are awarded 2024... but the taste? Let’s just say it didn’t leave a lasting impression. This makes me wonder: Do media buzz, food judges, or even Michelin Guide truly reflect quality? I sincerely hope "Super Star Famous Original Penang Laksa" continues thriving—we need more humble stalls like this preserving authentic flavors !

Hands down the best Laksa outside of Georgetown and Air Itam. The flavors are crisp and distinct, the fish is visible fresh and super tasty (not from a can), the toppings are crunchy and fresh, and the whole assembly is a well orchestrated dance in your mouth. If you are a tourist and headed to China Town for food, skip that and just come here. If you live in Sg and roll your eyes when I tell you about this place being the best Laksa on island because it’s in “China Town”, just give it a try.
