Super Sushi is one of those places that keeps things interesting by giving sushi a creative, local twist without charging premium prices. If you're looking for a quick sushi fix that goes beyond the usual salmon and tuna lineup, this is worth a look. We tried quite a few items, and the best was easily the soft shell crab sushi. Despite sitting in the takeaway box for about 45 minutes before we ate it, the crab was still pleasantly warm and retained a satisfying crunch. More importantly, it was fresh-tasting with none of the unpleasant seafood smell that soft shell crab can sometimes have. The Crème Brûlée Salmon was another interesting item. Don't expect the crackly caramelised texture of an actual crème brûlée—it's essentially aburi salmon topped with a lightly sweet cream that adds a touch of novelty and richness. The Truffle Salmon Maki carried subtle truffle notes rather than an overpowering truffle punch, but at this price point, it was hard to complain. The Black Pepper Beef Inari leaned towards a sweet flavour profile with a gentle peppery finish, though I would have preferred the inari skin to be a little thicker and juicier. The Beef Yakiniku was probably my least favourite. The beef was fine, but the generous coating of sweet soy sauce made it a little too rich for our liking. One area that could be improved is the rice. The shop highlights its premium Japanese rice, but on this visit the rice felt slightly undercooked and less moist than expected. It also tended to fall apart quite easily when picked up. Overall, they offer good value and a fun selection of creative sushi that you don't often see elsewhere. It's an affordable place for a quick, satisfying bite, and with new creations appearing from time to time, there's enough reason to keep coming back and see what's new.
おいしい寿司のお持ち帰り天国 OISHII SUSHI TAKEAWAY HEAVEN 🍣✨ A craving for sushi led me to Super Sushi @ SingPost Centre, and the experience delivered on every level. The menu offers an impressive variety, catering to both classic and adventurous tastes. Despite its affordable prices, the quality remains consistently fresh and satisfying. Prompt service and efficient preparation make it especially ideal for takeaways. My personal favourites are the Aburi Spicy Salmon and Creme Brulee Salmon, both of which stand out for their rich flavours, delightful texture, and satisfying finish.
