Tried the half boiled egg teriyaki salmon bowl. The salmon was tender, though the portion was on the smaller side. The teriyaki sauce was slightly too sweet, so it would be nice to have the option to have it served separately or go without it. I also added a set that came with green veggies and a miso soup. The vegetables were quite flavourful and made a nice complement to the meal. Tried the chicken soboro too, which is slightly a little on the sweet side as well, prefer it to be more savoury.
Review of Sukiya Gyudon @ Chinatown Point This is a fairly decent outlet, and Sukiya remains consistent with its store design, staying well aligned with a clean and simple Japanese style. I ordered the grilled yakitori bowl with a half bowl and half-boiled egg. It was straightforward and satisfying, though nothing particularly memorable. It’s decent for a quick meal, but not something that would leave me craving it every day. I’ve tried several Sukiya outlets over time, and while the food quality is generally consistent, the service here felt rather cold. The staff came across as unfriendly and unapproachable, which took away from the overall dining experience and made it feel less welcoming.
They have low carbs option. An absolute lifesaver as I'm on keto diet! Tasted quite yummy. There's tofu and vege below their signature meats
