Sukiya Gyudon at YewTee Point is a great spot for a quick, tasty and affordable Japanese meal. The outlet is clean, casual and easy to dine at, with a good range of gyudon, curry rice and other rice bowl options I enjoyed the teriyaki salmon bowl with beef. The portion was satisfying, the beef was tasty, and the salmon added a nice flavour to the bowl. It is the kind of simple comfort food that works well for a quick lunch or dinner I also liked the small touch of having free room-temperature tea, which made the meal feel more complete and convenient
Dropped by here for dinner. You can order at your phone if you can pay online (Paynow, cards etc) or at the counter, which accepts cash. The restaurant was spacious, with the condiments (soy sauce, red ginger, and an umami spice), utensils, and menu, set up nicely on the table. There was a free cup of tea given to each diner. The food was then served shortly. The beef is delectable, paired with the perfectly cooked half boiled egg. The large amount of spring onions given does elevate the dish's taste, surprisingly not dominating the beef and rice itself. Atmosphere was quite chill, and service was great too. Overall, it is a good place for family and friends to enjoy a meal here!
The food is great. But they didn't serve me the barley water... The other table a whole big family just stepped in and they were served with it immediately. I waited for awhile (till I almost finished my food) trying to understand perhaps they were busy and didn't manage to get the drinks, but the drink didn't arrive. I have eaten at sukiya so many times at other outlets, and this is the first time I came across this. I had to ask for the drink from the staff ... Somehow this outlet also many flies.
