Sukuya @ Woods Square is a good place to get all your gyudon needs and I appreciate it being here in the first place. The gyudon is chewy and flavourful and the miso soup is great and I love it. I do want to say that it feels weirdly a little warmer then I thought in here. There’s other outlets that have cooler air conditioning yet this one in particular couldn’t afford 25 degrees apparently. It somewhat bothers me but besides that, I like this place.
tried the seasonal item Bibimbap and its pretty delicious. the spinach and beansprouts are nicely flavoured, and very ample amount of gochujang given. price of 9.30 pretty pricy because same price can get a bigger portion bibimbap with mushrooms and some sides tho. will be sticking to the normal gyudon next visit.
Haha storytime of this absolute genuine service me and my friends encountered by a male staff working around 8pm on 23rd May, he is short in figure and I believe is a muslim🤍. He deserves the world. me and my friends decided a place because online says have vegetarian option, but upon arrival, the staff said it is removed from the menu, (only i am vegetarian! my friends aren't) I didn't wan to trouble my friends to move to another restaurant so we still dined there, but since there were nothing much for me I went to dabao a slice of cheesecake at some bakery nearby to enjoy it there! And then, I think the staff noticed, because he suddenly placed a tray infront of me wif a big smile.. It was a bowl of salad with an egg. i was so flabbergasted at first bc I didn't order anything and my friends had their food already.. I realised what he did and I was rlly rlly touched. It's not everyday to encounter such genuine gesture by the staff. i went to thank him again before we left and he js smiled.. I think i alm saw a Buddha...☹️ Anyw i hope he wins the lottery and get everything he wants in life🤍 It is amazing to have staff like him, even if he got training or no, I am absolutely touched by the service and experience. Me and my friends love him, they hope to see him again when they dine there again next week! Thankyou to him, once again 🤍
