Terrible experience today. First served with too much sauce, I can even see rice swimming in the yakiniku sauce. The staff changed a new one for me but it doesn’t taste like yakiniku, the beef is broken and so little. The beef was even lesser than my patience. Have been eating Sukiya many times, but tonight I experienced the worst food and service. Don’t have the mood to argue anymore, won’t come back to this branch anymore.
Food quality has gradually gone from decent to bad. Compared to the outlet at Waterway Point, the Tampines Mall branch feels like night and day. The vegetables tasted sour, and the salmon bowl tastes completely different from how it used to. If you've ever had 4Fingers at different outlets and noticed that some are especially bad, you'll know exactly what I mean. This Sukiya outlet at Waterway Point honestly feels more like a franchise-run branch than an official outlet. Spend your money elsewhere — I wouldn’t recommend eating here. I finished my food not because it taste good, but because it's pricey.
Serving time about 10 minutes which is acceptable as it wasn't packed during this timing. However, food is not hot when serves. Only 1 cup of barley tea serve when there are 2 of us. The tray were wet with the serviette drip with water drops and the bowl on top at the corner placed slanted. The small bowl contain the egg had some 'sesame seeds' in it. Overall the outlet service and food quality dropped tremendously.
