The place feels like suana! Avoid if you’re here with kids or friends. extremely hot and sunny. About half of the restaurant’s seating area is exposed to direct sunlight and nobody are taking the seats. Poor Management. should consider installing additional shade or UV-protective coverings to make the space more comfortable for guests. Somehow quality of food also not as good as the other branches in Chinatown or novena. Service staff also rude. Ordered takeaway, but they don’t bother to shoutout that it’s ready. Left me standing there. Poor management x2
One of the worst examples of customer service I've encountered. There were clearly empty tables available, yet few customers were left waiting in line with no direction or assistance from staff. The cashier did not bother to check on the queue, and the floor crew seemed completely unaware of waiting patrons. Not a single staff member acknowledged customers standing at the entrance or attempted to seat them despite the available seating. Poor queue management, poor communication, and a complete lack of customer awareness. (If you're busy, that's understandable—but ignoring waiting customers while tables sit empty is unacceptable.) Management should seriously review staff training and customer service standards.
My family had lunch here this afternoon, and we were pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t a queue — likely because it’s tucked away at the far end of a quieter section of Marina Square. We were seated almost immediately. Ordering is done via QR code at each table, and payment is completed online right after placing your order — very efficient and hassle-free. The food came out quickly, which is perfect if you're really hungry. I had the medium gyudon, and it was delicious — the portion was just right and left me feeling full and satisfied. My wife had the low-carb version with tofu instead of rice. I wasn’t expecting much, but it actually tasted great too! Each table comes with a jar of pickled ginger and a container of spicy seasoning powder, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the heat — we were seated right under the glass ceiling, and the afternoon sun made it quite uncomfortable. Next time, I’d definitely ask for a table further inside where it’s cooler. Overall, fast service and tasty food in a convenient setting. Just be mindful of where you sit if you're dining during the day!
