My usual go-to safe dining. Somehow something went wrong today. The Gyudon was a tad salty and rice overly drenched. I couldn't find plain rice to balance out the taste. The onion was also quite hard to chew. This is not the usual standard. I hope you can be more consistent in the food quality. Other than that, service was good.
Fuss free, direct and easy to order. We did enjoy the food and quality here and you don’t really need to wait more than 5mins in the queue so it’s awesome. Try the low carb bowl! It helps if you are cutting calories! Yum!!
I visited Sukiya for dinner and while the food was affordable and acceptable for the price, the service was very disappointing. Usually, staff would guide me to a seat, but today I was completely ignored and had to walk in and choose my own seat. When my oolong tea was served, it was placed far away from me with a loud “thud,” which felt unnecessarily aggressive. I was dining alone and chose a small table for two. However, when my meal was served, it was placed at the far end of the table, nearer to the opposite seat instead of in front of me, which was quite absurd and inconvenient. At around 8pm, all the red pickled radish was already kept away, even though the outlet operates 24 hours. That felt ironic and disappointing. Additionally, the lady in a black tudung wearing spectacles appeared visibly frustrated and was making loud noises as she moved around. I was also uncomfortable seeing her pick up a receipt from the floor and place it onto a tray used for serving food. I hope the management looks into this, as the service standards today did not reflect a pleasant dining experience.
