We ordered the BMT Sub and the Mushroom Delight Sub. It’s been quite a while since we last dined at a Subway restaurant, so I was a little surprised to find that Italian bread was no longer listed as an option. When I asked about it, I was told that Italian bread is essentially the same as white bread. Technically they aren’t exactly the same, but I decided not to pursue the point further. In any case, it seems that Italian bread is no longer offered as a separate bread choice. We made our order a meal, which came with a drink and a side. Do note that drink refills are not free-flow here. Each refill costs an additional S$1.50. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re expecting unlimited refills. That said, the sandwiches themselves tasted great. The ingredients and everything came together nicely. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal and a nice reminder of why Subway can still be a satisfying quick bite. I just hope the real Italian bread makes a comeback someday, as it used to be one of my preferred bread choices.
Staff who work during lunch time on weekdays are very nice. Honestly, other subway branch in Sg always disappointed me with poor amount of ingredients and staff service. However, I can assure here sandwich itself and staff are nice!!
