daphnesthe food quality really depends on who is working!! whoever did the 2nd station today (not the veg one, the meat station etc) deserves a raise!!! generous and not skimpy on the ingredients, wrapped very well despite it being really huge. he had a good service attitude, despite the long queue he cleared the crowd fast and still served quality food! asked for it to be toasted a little longer and it def was!! by far the best experience from the jem stuff’d. previous experiences were not as pleasant (with half filled bowls, mini burritos)
Jay ChuaAfter a long hiatus from Stuff’d, largely due to several disappointing experiences at their other outlets, I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, this latest visit only reaffirmed my reasons for leaving in the first place. The most persistent issue remains portion size inconsistency. Depending on which staff member is on duty, the size of the burrito or kebab varies considerably, with no visible standardization. One would reasonably expect the company to enforce a consistent, level scoop for each ingredient, but employees appear to operate on their own discretion. When I politely brought this to the attention of the staff, I was met with a visibly frustrated response. The employee seemed overworked, disengaged, and took my feedback as a personal challenge rather than a constructive observation. It became clear that they preferred doing things their own way, regardless of any operational guidelines. Regrettably, this mirrors the exact issues I’ve encountered at other Stuff’d outlets, suggesting a systemic problem rather than an isolated incident. To make matters worse, the chain has repeatedly increased its prices in recent months, without any corresponding improvement in quality, consistency, or service. Taken together, the unpredictable portions, dismissive staff attitude, and rising costs have made it easy to avoid Stuff’d altogether. It’s a shame, because Stuff’d used to be a place I genuinely looked forward to for a satisfying and affordable meal. But at this point, I strongly believe your calories and your wallet are better spent elsewhere.
