I visited during the dinner timing and understand that the service would not be the best with a shortage of manpower. What I am unimpressed about is the lack of respect for my request to have their gloves changed as they were touching receipts and then touching all the lettuce, tomatoes etc. The staff rolled his eyes when I made my request which was quite rude. The photo I have attached also shows a receipt being placed between the food (wrap) and the foil, meaning the ink of the receipt would be in direct contact with the food. Another photo shows a scoop being left in the chicken container with no intention of being removed whilst the same staff continues to scoop the chicken with another scoop in the same container. Overall the cleanliness of the food makes me uneasy and I hope that the management can look into your practices.
I frequently buy food at Bedok Mall. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the place is usually crowded. I highly recommend my friends to come and try it.
I would suggest having more energetic and efficient staff. There were no customers ahead of me, yet the service was still slow and not very organized. The staff seemed to focus more on online orders and did not prioritize serving walk-in customers efficiently. Even though I only ordered a salad bowl that didn’t require heating, I still had to wait 15 minutes, which I feel is unreasonable. I’ve visited the Tampines branch before, and the service there is much faster and more proactive. It might be helpful for management to consider assigning more efficient and responsive staff during busy periods.
