M HCame here on a weekday afternoon, just after 2pm to avoid the lunch crowd. Freely able to get a table for 2. Ordered the 150g Sirloin Lunch Set (which comes with unlimited refill of the rice, vege and soup?) for $11.90 (before GST + service charges). Meal came decently fast for a steak dish, as it was not crowded. Meat portion and taste was decent for the price. I chose baked potato for my side which came with a bit of butter. I like that it comes on a hot stone plate so if you wish to have your steak a bit more done you can cut and leave it on the stone for a bit longer. A small portion of the meat with the tendon(?) was a bit tough-ish (which i could not chew) but for the most part everything was nice and filling. The meat was also placed on top of beansprouts (taugeh) on the hotplate, so do remove them if you are not planning to have overcooked taugeh 🤣 Service wise: Can’t say much about the service as we were told to order via the QR code and made payment via the ordering site as well. Not much conversation needed and sauces and cutlery are already provided per table. Based on the other reviews, would say keep an open mind and consider this a no-frills restaurant as your own personal experience may vary.
Kelvin LamEnjoyed myself with the simple environment, simple service but nice good value selection of meats. @ $9.90 onwards, with free flow rice, cabbage and seaweed soup, it's good deal. Balance is at the $12.90, for young growing adults it's a good deal. Drinks is sub par, so just get want you need. Sauces are good enough, not important, just dab a little bit of salt for the meat and it's flavourful enough.
M *This halal-friendly steakhouse offers a decent lunch set with easy ordering. The set includes rice, drinks, and sides. The chicken and beef are cooked on hot stones, which we need to cook thoroughly ourselves. They provide cooking bibs to protect your shirts. The chicken is decent, but it’s thigh meat, which is nice to enjoy with their sauce. The beef cut is so-so, but decent. The sauce actually enhances the flavor. Overall, this place is a medium-range steakhouse. We arrived early before 12 pm and it was easy to get seats, but we had to wait a while for our food.
