The online order through scanning from the table is a good idea. But the follow up of having to literally queue to make payments defeated this purpose. Food is ok and some is good here. The friendliness of the staff were also great. But the online order brings the star rating on service based on my opinion. Place can be super crowded during lunch time.
Ordered via GrabFood after seeing the good reviews, but was disappointed – curry was too sweet, not the usual savoury curry. Masala thosai doesn’t have strong spices, I’m only tasting thosai and potato :( Maggie goreng came with tomato ketchup instead of chilli. No Maggie goreng wok hei that you can usually find at good Indian eateries in sg. The seasoning is also totally gone. My husband and I really enjoy good and authentic Indian food with stronger spices but the taste here has been watered down.
We had a great experience here. We especially loved the plain prata—perfectly flaky and delightfully crunchy. The egg and cheese prata were just as good, with a satisfying crispiness. We ordered the prata set with mini masala chicken and butter chicken, which was definitely worth it. The set also comes with a drink of your choice. I had the teh halia, which wasn’t too thick and had a balanced ginger flavor that wasn’t overpowering. My husband ordered the lime juice—it came in a tall glass, though it was a bit sweet, so letting the ice melt helped balance it out. They also offer unlimited fish curry and chicken curry, kept warm in a food warmer. Overall, it was a great dining experience and one we’d happily return to.
