Their rendition of Kampung style has loose fluffy seasoned rice, crunchy string beans, juicy cucumber, wispy whisked chicken egg, and crisp fried ikan bilis / anchovies. Carries smoky grainy fishy salty vegetal sweet eggy savoury spice flavour. . Completed with firm crunchy kerupuk ikan tenggiri / mackerel fish crackers with fishy savoury salty flavour, and a soft fried sunny side up chicken egg with eggy sweet savoury flavour.

  Kudos to this amazing staff member for serving my group of 20 people! He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and patient while taking all our orders. He even helped us take a group photo and kindly gave everyone complimentary ice cream, which was such a thoughtful gesture. From crispy prata and rich murtabak to flavour-packed nasi goreng and Western dishes, everything comes out generous and satisfying. The prata is nicely crisp on the outside and soft inside, while the murtabak is packed with juicy filling and full of flavour. Even the sides like chicken wings and teh tarik hit the spot — proper comfort food done right. What really makes the place stand out is the atmosphere. Located right in the heart of Simpang Bedok, the whole area comes alive at night. There’s a constant buzz of people, the smell of food in the air, and that classic Singapore supper culture vibe. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just chilling after a long day, it feels relaxed, energetic, and welcoming all at once. Service is fast-paced (as expected for a busy spot), but food usually arrives quickly, and the staff handle the crowd pretty well. Overall, Spize at Simpang Bedok is a go-to for good food, big variety, and a great late-night atmosphere. Definitely worth coming down when you’re craving a satisfying supper with a solid vibe.
