  My family are long term customers of Sofra right when they were still at Shaw along Beach Road. So when the brother who was turning 50 and said he wanted to mark it with a special Turkish meal there can only be 1 place - Sofra. The first pleasant surprise of the night was that we were given a private room for the 12 of us so that we could make as much noise as we wanted without disturbing anyone. Haha. The food here is always on point. Fresh, smoky meat and hearty breads and dips. Special shout out to the Pides which were polished off as quickly as they were set on the table. And can I just say that I will return again and again just for the kunefa. Warm. Crunchy and gooey at the same time without it being cloyingly sweet. The second surprise of the night was when we were done eating and requested for the cake, there was a whole entourage of staff who came in and sang happy birthday! What a way to commemorate a 50th birthday. The Third surprise was that my brother was gifted a little present for his birthday. A nice thoughtful gesture. A shout out to the staff as well. It was a Saturday night and I know they were working hard but they remained professional, polite and always ready to serve. Hugely appreciated! And even though the floor managers were busy they still took time to take a picture with the family and see us out. What a brilliant celebration meal! Thank you!

The Turkish cuisine was AUTHENTIC and DELICIOUS - every dish was a flavor explosion! 🤩 The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home.   Sofra is one of our favourite go to restaurants for turkish food. The meat grills are full of flavours and piping hot when served. Pides and sesame bread are probably the best we had in town. Ambience is relaxing with great view to the city. It’s a place not to be missed!
