Take this 'warung padang' for instance: the sign lists the chicken at 3.6 SGD, but rice is extra, making the final price 5 SGD. It’s obvious the stall attendant is playing games with the prices since they aren't listed. If that’s how they’re going to act, they should just turn off the Quran recitation.
Estela DuqueFoodies' Clan is at Changi Airport T2 primarily serves Changi staff, so it is understandably tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the public areas. It is accessible from T2 Arrivals Area: walk towards the Carpark, then take the lift to Level 3M, from where you enter through an unassuming entrance. Hours are 07:00-1830 Mon-Fri and 07:00-17:30 Sat-Sun. I've been going to the other food court called Orchis at Changi T1 for over a decade, and discovered T2 food court only now. The sitting area of Foodies' Clan (T2) is about twice the size of Orchis (T1); with about 20 stallholders, which is more than what Orchis has; and the surroundings are brighter and in much better physical state, owing to a recent refurbishment. This is excellent hawker food fare. I bought a meal from two different stalls, and would say that portions at Foodies' Clan (T2) are bigger, even more than what I'm used to from city centre hawker vendors!
Mel KSuper yummy Singapore local favourite hidden in the Singapore airport. This is a food court that have lots of different stalls. There are so many choices there. The chicken rice is perfectly cooked. Dried noodles also super tasty. The price in the food court is very affordable. Plenty of tables and seating. Staff are friendly too. This food court also have airport staff customers too. This food court is outside security. Need to enter via car park. This is a gem for traveller and transit visitors. The closest place to enjoy every Singapore favorite food and drinks. I definitely will come back again for next transit.
