I encountered a blatant case of profiteering at this stall today. I ordered 3 packets of lontong to takeaway. The guy asked if I wanted them in containers or plastic bags. I chose the latter. Price quoted was $5/packet. Prices were not displayed at the stall. I noted that the neighbouring stall sells lontong at $4.50 and asked the guy why his was $5.00. He explained that his price is also $4.50 but $0.50 for takeaway regardless of whether the food is packed in containers or plastic bags. How could a plastic bag cost 50 cents? I told him that it’s ridiculous but he just shrugged his shoulders.

The worst Malay food ,I ever had. Bought nasi sambal goreng, price. $4.30 The food was cold, it was around 8am in the morning that I bought and ate there. Rice cold , chicken wings super dry ,can break your teeth lol. Please please trust me ,don't waste your time visiting this stall. This is my 1st time visited this shop after 2 years due to COVID-19 and it will be my last. What a disappointment, last time they were not like that, their dishes now standard drop alot, cook without passion anymore. Better travel all the way to geylang serai to experience proper Malay food. So please don't waste your time visiting this shop not worth your money!!

Service - Fast only 1 person in queue. Payment - $6.50 for the dish. paynow and cdc voucher available for cashless payment. Variety - Mainly malay food and light snacks (kueh2) Freshness - My chicken tasted a bit weird. My friend, who had mee goreng also tasted weird. Seats - Hard to find seats in this food centre. Summary - I will likely try to avoid coming here unless I really have no other options.
