  Update: Came to eat again in September 2025. Food price increased by 30% and they cut down on spices and condiments - watered down taste. Authentic Malay cuisine at very affordable prices. Nasi lemak rice is fluffy with fragrant coconut aroma. The ikan bilis is super crispy. Sambal is the watery sort.

  Happen to be at this food centre and wanted to have Malay style nasi lemak and happen this stall is still operating. This is one of the few Muslim stalls in this food centre. Reached there slightly before 1pm, although the stalls were still operating but they were limited dishes to choose from already. There was a short queue ahead of me but it cleared off pretty fast. Decided to go with the nasi lemak, which consisted of the fried anchovies, fried chicken wing and a slice of Omelette. Paid SGD$3.50 for my meal. Fried chicken wing was well seasoned, wished that it could be crispier. The wings probably displayed for quite some time. As the nasi lemak rice was sold out, replaced it with the normal rice. Sambal chili is on the sweeter side but compliment the dishes well. Overall, the food was not bad. Would advise to come earlier so that the selection choices are wider.

  This stall is popular for its Nasi padang. But what caught our eyes is the unique gado-gado they serve for only $3.50 that includes generous pieces of ketupat, egg, cabbage, long beans, tempeh topped with lots of keropok and special bright orangey peanut sauce. Peanut sauce is very thick, flavourful and slightly spicy. Peanut taste lingered in my throat even hours later. Goes really well with the ingredients. Affordable and hearty meal!! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
