What can I say - horrible. Worst hokkien mee in Singapore, no fragrance of wok hei or prawns, it snelled of something odd instead. Mee goreng, all it was was overly spicy and smelled of beansprouts although I could not see much beansprouts. No seafood taste either. The sotong/squid were the tiny cheap pieces. Also the prawns were not peeled, unlike most mee goreng and hokkien mee places. Totally no effort, only wished I had seen their 1.9 star rating earlier - they should not be selling such food if they cannot make it to a reasonable standard.
Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I was served possibly the saddest Sweet & Sour Chicken with Rice known to mankind. And this was at 4:30pm on a weekday — not exactly peak hour! Being familiar with Seabay (shoutout to the Parkway Parade outlet!), I was shocked to receive a COLD, sunny side up that looked like it had been fried sometime around lunchtime… or possibly during the Jurassic era. I politely asked for a fresh egg, and the staff told me, “Okay, but just this once.” Don’t worry — it will be just this once, because I’m not coming back. Pro tip: If you’re having a rough day, maybe don’t pass that energy onto tired customers who just want a decent meal.
Avoid. Poor communication with customers. Food quality is deplorable. Ingredients are I sufficient. I don’t recommend this food stall.
