The Rundown
Getting this ayam penyet from this stall neear to the wet market. Good to brief fried the chicken thigh when I placed the order. Hot & Crispy that was the result, although not the entire portion remained juicy. The rice was kinda dry.

Just had by far the best ayam penyet in my life served by a very humble friendly uncle. The dish looks simple but he served with so much passion with his plating and it tastes spectacular! Definitely coming back again in the future!

Kitty and I were cycling through Changi Village, known for its nasi lemak, when we stumbled upon Sari Bistari. Kitty had heard about their Ayam Penyet and was eager to try it. Our first attempt was unsuccessful, they were sold out. But we returned the next day, and it was totally worth it. The fried chicken was incredible. The meat was incredibly tender, and the skin was perfectly crisp, the best fried chicken either of us has ever had, surpassing even the nasi lemak in Changi Village. It was so good. If you're visiting Changi Village, even if you're a nasi lemak fan like Kitty, you absolutely have to try Sari Bistari's Ayam Penyet.
