  My first visit here to try an alternative to my usual Hjh Maimunah. As I reached past 2pm, only a few dishes were left and the are not warm. The rendang, opor ayam, sambal stingray all has a deep savoury taste that does not leave one thirsty. I will return again around 11ish to taste the dishes in their original warm state. The 2nd floor aircon seating offers a nice respite from the hot weather.

  Excellent traditional style nasi padang, including dishes that aren't as widely available like jackfruit (nangka) curry. The beef rendang was really good - I feared it would be a little tough but it was fairly tender while still having bite, and the sauce was aromatic and had punch! Most dishes were good - sambal goreng was outstanding - though I think the tauhu telur would have been better hot, so probably order that if a fresh batch is available. Make sure to wash everything down with some teh tarik or teh halia, as well as some desserts from the station up front. Highly recommended!

  Came here with high expectations after seeing the very high Google rating, but unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the hype. All the dishes were served cold, even the rice, which I feel is the bare minimum to get right. That already set a disappointing tone. Perhaps because of that, most of the food tasted pretty meh overall, nothing stood out. The biggest letdown was the sambal prawns. For a $6 portion, I expected at least decent freshness, but the prawn meat was mushy and stuck to the shell, which is a clear sign they weren’t fresh. Definitely not worth it. Everyone’s taste is different, but for me, this was underwhelming from start to finish. Sadly, I won’t be recommending this place.
