Crumpled NomadHad dinner at Saap Saap Thai @ T3 Public and honestly, it was quite a letdown. I ordered the basil chicken over rice, mango glutinous rice, and a Thai iced tea — pretty standard Thai comfort dishes that I was craving before the flight. Unfortunately, the taste was far from authentic Thai standards. The basil chicken lacked depth, aroma, and that familiar wok hei you’d expect from a proper pad kra pao. It felt muted and overly generic. The mango glutinous rice was average at best, missing that rich coconut fragrance, and the Thai iced tea didn’t stand out either. What made it worse was the pricing. Everything felt extremely expensive for what was served, especially given the minimal service and basic setup. I understand airport dining comes at a premium, but even then, it’s hard to justify the cost when the food quality doesn’t match up. Overall, this was more about convenience than enjoyment. If you’re genuinely craving good Thai food, this might not hit the spot. Personally, I’d rather save the appetite for something better outside the airport.
Ally KateTo be honest, the food is really quite bad for a chain cafe. The tomyum soup was rather bland & oily - only saving grace was that the prawns were pretty decent. The Krapow beef tasted more like Bulgogi and even then, there was hardly any flavour. You’ll be better off having a meal at the food court - the food would generally be tastier. No service to speak of, since we ordered from the kiosk. They simply pass you the dish once it’s ready. Would have given it only one star, if not for the ambience - pretty clean and quiet.
Fairus IsmailDid they change recipe recently? I ordered extra soup thinking would be the usual warm tasty soup but end up the soup is saltish and very different than usual. It is black in color,taste like light sauce or dark sauce is added to the soup. Is it normal? Regretful visit
