Rumifolks is one of the more chill and aesthetic café spots around the Haji Lane / Bali Lane area in Singapore, especially if you enjoy cozy café vibes, creative coffee drinks, and a relaxing place to lepak with friends or do some light work. The café was previously known as “Rumi The Poet’s Cup” before reopening nearby with a refreshed concept and brighter interior. The atmosphere is probably the biggest attraction here — warm lighting, bookshelves, plants, artsy decorations, and a calm ambience that feels very fitting with the Haji Lane culture. Many visitors mention the friendly staff and comfortable environment for long conversations or just enjoying coffee slowly. For drinks, their signature items like the Pandan Latte, Butterscotch Americano, Strawberry Matcha, and Salted Caramel Macchiato are among the popular choices. The coffee menu is more unique compared to many standard cafés nearby, especially if you like sweeter or flavoured specialty-style drinks. Food-wise, the menu is more café-style comfort food rather than heavy meals. Croissant sandwiches, waffles, fries, cakes, and desserts are commonly recommended. Portion sizes are decent, though some reviewers feel the pricing is slightly on the premium café side. Overall, Rumifolks is more about the full café experience — ambience, aesthetics, relaxing environment, and creative drinks — rather than purely hardcore specialty coffee. It’s a nice stop if you’re exploring Haji Lane or Kampong Glam and want a comfortable halal-friendly café to unwind. Suitable for couples, café hopping, casual meetings, or coffee hunting with friends.

Really enjoyed my time here! The ambience was great, the seating was cosy, and the overall vibes were immaculate. Loved the playlist too, the song choices were amazing and made the place feel even more welcoming. Had the Rumichino and it was nice! Personally, I would’ve preferred it a little less sweet, but that’s just my taste. Also, shoutout to the staff for being so friendly and warm throughout. Had a lovely experience and would definitely visit again! :)

food and service was good! except we came at night for dinner and oh my goodness was it noisssssyyyyyy! 😅 there was live music playing downstairs hosted by the cafe & me & my friend sat upstairs to eat, the cheers and crowd noise level + the live music/speeches from downstairs were quite loud, thank God we could close the window to drown it out abit or me & my friend wouldn't be able to hear each other a lil bit too expensive when it comes to the drinks tbh 1 thing to note too, i requested for NON spicy aglio olio, was assured by the staff that the aglio olio would be done without spice and that he would let the chef know, no chilli pls when my aglio olio arrived, it was spicy!!!!! i think the chef forgot so i had to wait quite awhile for them to remake it again without the spice :')
