Nasi Padang store with a wide variety of rice & indomie sets, along with plenty of dishes to go with rice. We chose the Indomie Ayam Belado Hijau ($8) and added on bergedil ($1.50), kangkong ($4), and a cup of teh tarik ($1.50). indomie was delicious and so flavourful, with tender tasty chicken thigh. Spice was just right, but perhaps i might ask for some sambal on the side next time. Bergedil and kangkong was also tasty, though I couldn't believe the small portion of kangkong costed $4 haha! Teh tarik was on the sweeter side.
Dear Management, I recently purchased the Tahu Goreng at Minang, Tampines Hub, and was honestly shocked by how extremely spicy the gravy was. When I approached the staff to provide feedback, I was simply told that “this is how it comes from the factory,” as though customers are expected to just suffer through it. What was even more disappointing was the “solution” provided — adding an excessive amount of soy sauce into the gravy and expecting that to somehow fix the issue. Unfortunately, that did not improve the situation at all. If the spice level is intentionally made this intense, perhaps customers should at least be informed before purchasing. Not everyone has a tongue trained for a spicy endurance challenge. A simple warning or an option for a milder sauce would have been much more considerate. I hope the management can review this matter seriously and improve both the customer service response and the sauce preparation moving forward. Thank you.
I am so happy to discover that Rumah Makan Minang has a branch here at Tampines. Love 🇮🇩 Indonesian cooking, especially their rendang and grilled chicken.
