Serene MahVisited the store on 10th Nov evening and bought 2 mini strudels - Classic Apple and Mango. The attending staff is an Indian lady, and after taking my order, she proceeded to prepare the strudels. She took out a box of mango, and to my horror, picked up a piece of mango - bare handed, and ate it. She told me she’s tasting the mango to make sure it’s sweet, before preparing the strudels. I was totally disgusted by her actions as her bare hand had touched other pieces of the mango as well. I asked if she’s going to handle my order bare handed and she said no. That’s when I saw that she put on a plastic glove, just one and used glove. She cut the pastry into halves, leaving 1 halves inside the boxes while the other halves on the table where there’re computer, files, etc right beside. The entire food preparation disgusted me and it’s totally unacceptable. I have to admit that I threw away the 2 boxes of strudels. This hugely compromises the hygiene standards and I started to wonder how the ingredients are prepared. At least I know I won’t ever step foot buying anything from this store.
