Visited this place for a quick lunch on Saturday. Food - Nasi lemak was reasonably tasty but the clam laksa doesn't taste as good as I had before at other outlets. Perhaps standards have dropped. Service - Self pick up and tray return counters. Food prices have gone up. Atmosphere - standard Qiji outlet layout with air-conditioning and bearable noise level.
Extremely disappointing experience. This might be the worst outlet I’ve ever tried for nasi lemak and popiah by Qi Ji. The chicken was undercooked and looked visibly bloody, which is very concerning. It was also bland and lacked seasoning. The rice was also not well cooked — hard and dry, definitely not the fragrant, fluffy coconut rice one would expect. As for the popiah, it was soggy and tasteless. Would not recommend and won’t be eating from this outlet again.
Can see they are trying to cut cost by switching whole foods with processed garbage… chicken chop mee rebus was made to look whole by adding processed fish cake and reduce actual chicken thigh… sneakily unethical… typical Singapore F&B nowadays
