If you are looking for a reliable spot for local comfort food, QiJi at Our Tampines Hub is a fantastic choice. I stopped by at 1:30 PM and found the experience to be incredibly smooth and efficient. The Atmosphere & Service • Seating & Comfort: The outlet is located in an air-conditioned area, making it a perfect escape from the midday heat. Even for a weekend visit, there were plenty of seats available at 13:30. • Quick Turnaround: There was only a short queue when I arrived. After placing my order, I only had to wait about 5 minutes for the food to be served. The Food QiJi is a go-to for several local delicacies, and they definitely hit the mark on the classics: • The Signature: Their popiah is my personal favorite—fresh, well-wrapped, and consistently delicious. • Varied Menu: They offer a great range of staples like Mee Rebus, Mee Siam, and Lontong. • Customization: You can easily add on ingredients (like extra otah or chicken wing, begedil) at an extra cost to suit your appetite. • Dietary Friendly: It’s easy to eat well here, as they provide plenty of healthier choices marked on the menu. Convenience • Payment: It’s very convenient for residents as they accept CDC vouchers. • Events: For those looking to feed a larger group, it’s worth noting that they have catering options available as well. Verdict: A stress-free, air-conditioned spot for a quick and satisfying local lunch. The popiah is a must-try!
Visited a few Qi Ji outlets and the food at this outlet is still the best to me. I initially thought they were using a franchise model so standards might vary by outlet, but after checking with the staff, they confirmed there is no franchise involved. Looking at the coffee foam, saw they use an automatic steamer, and it really tastes nice, though this step may be skipped when the queue is too long. Sometimes you may need to wait up to 30 minutes for your order during busy periods.
