Queue wasn't much of an issue when I visited, but unfortunately the food itself was a letdown temperature-wise — it arrived quite cold, especially the expensive fried chicken wing and the fried egg. At $2.40 for a piece of chicken wing, the price is on the higher end for what you get, and at that price point, the food should at the very least be served hot Speaking of the egg, it was disappointingly small and some of the egg white was missing entirely, which really shouldn't have been served in that state. The nasi lemak itself was average at best — nothing that stood out or left an impression. On a brighter note, the staff were friendly and polite throughout. The dining area was clean, and beyond the nasi lemak, they also offer their popular popiah and laksa, along with drinks like Thai iced milk tea and organic soya bean milk. Conveniently located right at the entrance of East Point Mall, just a short walk from Simei MRT Station.
Love their mee siam and mee rebus — the broth is unique and really flavourful. However, service could be better. I was there during a non-peak hour with no queue, but the staff could have been more polite when explaining the menu since I wasn’t very familiar with it. Great food, but hope the service improves.
✔️✔️✔️✔️ 👍 Review of Qi Ji Mee Rebus Stand outlet at East Point Mall 3 Simei Street 6, #01-28 Eastpoint Mall, Singapore 528833 The Mee Rebus stand at Qi Ji in East Point Mall stands out as a healthy choice, particularly for those of us who crave nutritious food. While not all outlets serve the finest Mee Rebus, I believe this establishment can be considered the best I have encountered. Qi Ji offers Mee Rebus made with whole grain noodles, making it a healthier option compared to traditional recipes. Although the nutritional content may vary, they often use whole grain brown rice vermicelli or similar healthy noodles, aligning with their commitment to providing better choices for customers. **Key Details:** * **Whole Grain Noodles:** Multiple sources emphasize Qi Ji's selection of whole grain noodles in their Mee Rebus. * **Healthier Choice:** Despite being a flavorful dish, the whole grain noodles contribute to making it a relatively healthier option among their offerings. * **Ingredients:** Expect the usual toppings, including tofu, egg, bean sprouts, and a savory gravy with their signature spicy-sweet kick. If you happen to be at East Point Mall, I highly recommend checking out this stall. Keep in mind that if you order takeout and want extra noodles, be sure to remind the packing staff to include them, even though I have paid for them in advance. Why? I’ve experienced a few occasions where I only realized this at home, just as we were about to enjoy our lunch. Bon appetite! **SG Favourite Local Delights** Chris 18 Jan 2026
