Their menu has changed, not as good as it used to be last time to me. See the pictures. Popiah is ok, but a bit sweet. Mee rebus is as before normal. Ayam berempah is terrible. Nothing like what's in the picture. Overcooked hard frozen chicken faking as delicious meat. Will not recommend. Staff shows attitude when asked to change unsavoury looking items in the set. Overall just average food only. Fast food maybe better at this price point. Will not be going back anytime in the near future.
This Qiji laksa is seriously more than just a bowl of noodles, it’s like a warm hug from my past. That creamy, rich flavor instantly brings me back 20 years. I remember being a kid, super excited, hunting for computer parts with my mum at the old Funan IT mall, there was a Qiji outlet there. Even when things weren't great like when I injured my arm and went to Changi General Hospital, I knew Qiji's laksa would be there to make me feel better. Now I’m 34, and honestly, this bowl is still the best part of my day. It’s the perfect, warm comfort I look forward to after a long, cold bus ride to work. Qiji has been around for my whole life, and the amazing thing is that the taste has never changed. It’s always spot on! I used to grab lunch at the Yishun outlet every single day until I moved to Tengah a year ago. Today, I was out running an errand and decided to stop in. I’m so happy I did! That first spoonful of creamy, flavorful broth was just as good as I remember. It’s so consistent, it practically took me right back to that very first bowl I had at Funan. I love it, I’ve loved it all these years. Thank you, Qiji, for keeping the food delicious and the feeling so comforting!
Was at Yishun outlet to takeaway Lontong. When I poured out the gravy, it looked very mushy. As I was eating, found some charred bites on the cabbage and carrots.
