The snacks at this place is authentic Indian flavour. The pricing of the food is affordable and not expensive. The cakes are tasty. They serve hot pakoda, puffs in evening with tea. Idly, dosa and parotta is also available here.
Have tried many items from Puffs Palace before, and everything has always been really good. But this time I tried their Tamil-style Sambar Idli for the first time — and wow, it was an amazing experience 😍 The idlis were incredibly soft and fluffy, and once soaked in the hot sambar, every bite became pure comfort food. The sambar had that authentic Tamil homemade flavour with the perfect balance of spice and richness. It tasted traditional, soulful, and very satisfying. What made it even better was the simple traditional serving style, which gave a real local South Indian food vibe. Sometimes the simplest dishes leave the strongest impression, and this sambar idli was exactly like that. The restaurant atmosphere was lively and clean, and the service was quick as always. After trying many dishes here, I can confidently say Puffs Palace keeps maintaining their quality and taste consistently. This was my first time trying their sambar idli, but definitely not the last. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Tamil-style comfort food! 🔥👌
This is a small, no-frills shop that gets plenty of visitors but surprisingly few reviews. It specializes in classic Indian snacks and a variety of teas, and it truly transports you to a local Indian snack shop. Their puffs, vadas, buns, and other fried snacks are the highlights. The puffs, especially the egg puffs, are exceptional—perfectly layered, not too flaky and not too soft, with a generous filling. They’ve really perfected the art of making puffs. The tea here pairs wonderfully with them. They also offer a wide range of cakes. The cakes are soft and fluffy, though the cream isn’t the highest quality. Still, for the price, it’s hard to complain. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly meal around Little India, this is probably the cheapest spot you’ll find. They serve several rice dishes—sambar rice, mint rice, curd rice, lemon rice, tamarind rice, plus veg and chicken meals. These are decent, but the snacks are definitely the stars. Since the shop is small and very casual, finding seating can be a bit of a challenge. They also offer catering services. Overall, it’s a great place for tasty, affordable Indian snacks and tea. The food may not be upscale, but it’s authentic, comforting, and worth a visit.
