Jason Ng[BUGIS, SINGAPORE] If you love your Thai food PLEASE come to this Halal restaurant Pratunam @pratunamsg at Bugis+, because not only was the food delicious, it was affordable as well 😍 The Signature Thai Army Hotpot with Mama 🍜 ($36.80) came massive with load of ingredients like chicken franks, different kind of fish cakes and grilled chicken. Every ingredient was tasty and I loved the fish cakes so much! The noodles were also intentionally undercooked, so that the texture is just right when it boils. The soup is customisable to be either clear or milky, and the spice can be dampened too 😍 such a great dish that can be shared by 3-4! Another sharing dish to get is the Thai Style Steamed Seabass 🐟 ($28.90), which was so soft and fresh. The sauce is garlicky yet tangy at the same time which was so shiok to have with some rice 🤤 For desserts, their Fried Banana with Coconut Ice Cream 🍨 ($5.90) will help you cool down from the heat. The coconut ice cream was rich and creamy and was perfect with the freshly fried banana 🥺 it's kinda like banana split but Thai version LOL If you want lunch options too, fred not! They have even more affordable lunch options like the Runny Omelette Fried Chicken Cutlet Rice 🍳🍚 ($9.90) that was really comforting, with really crispy and flavourful chicken cutlet. khrhmsLocated at Bugis +! Surprised that this was a HALAL option for Thai food. The prices were pretty affordable but don’t expect huge portions for some of the dishes. Food took about 15 mins to arrive after ordering via their QR code. The omelette was nice and soft which was great and the lemon chicken was good too. Set meat + 1 extra dish for 3 people added up to $16 per pax. Overall, not bad option for weekday lunch.
Catsy MirrWe checked out this Thai spot and had tofu with sweet and sour sauce, chicken Thai basil, and red ruby for dessert. The mains had that traditional Thai taste we really liked. The dessert, though, was a bit underwhelming—less coconut milk, kind of bland, and ice cubes instead of shaved ice. Would love to see them improve that creamy flavor and go for shaved ice next time. Service was great, though—the staff were fast and accommodating even with the place packed.
