Avon HoIve never drop a negative review but the young boyish malaysian staff is always MISSING in action! Today I was queueing for chicken rice and the queue was long (took like 15-20mins) more as someone infront of is had bought 7 packs, and to my surprise the signage of her being away is still there and is not the first time! My mother, and friends who visit Seletar Mall frequently can attest to that and lastly she always out on a face like not happy to serve. Please bring us back our favourite Seletar Mall Polar Puff aunty who had been deployed elsewhere and comes back once in a blue moon.

Before purchased, I clarified with the staff if there was a 20% off the prices shown on the shelf for all the log cakes and she confirmed there would be. After she packed the Winter Tropical Twist for us, just before asking for payment, she told us that the 20% was not applicable for that cake because this cake was cheaper than the other two that were still on the shelf and 20% discount would only be applicable to the other two higher priced log cakes. She mentioned that only member 10% off would be applicable for my purchase. Seeing that the cake was already nicely packed, I really thought it wasn’t too nice to say I didn’t want it anymore. I paid but feeling upset. Obviously, the 20% tag was displayed on that particular log cake I bought as shown on the pictures yet the offer wasn’t being honoured upon payment. Wrote to Polar on the night itself and the customer service team replied on 29 Dec saying that they took this very seriously and would investigate and get back to me. I received no follow up from them and wrote another email on 28 Jan 2026 to ask if this case is considered closed. There is no response until now so I considered it closed and decided to leave a review.
Thomas TingI would like to commend Shawn for his excellent service. He was very professional in explaining and recommending your pastries to me. He was also friendly and attentive, taking the time to understand my preferences and suggest suitable options. What impressed me most was that he even advised me on the proper way to store the pastries if I couldn’t finish them, which was very thoughtful and helpful. His outstanding customer service made my experience very enjoyable. Thank you, Shawn!
