Anita TanLove polar puff pastries especially their curry puffs n chicken pies. Bought yesterday as they promoted 3 @$7.50. The ingredients inside had completely missed the mark of yester years. Also I became very thirsty after consuming one curry puff and 1 chicken pie. Their pastry also were not crispy. Won't buy again :(
D. LimOnce an all time old school favorite, sadly reduced to cost cutting measures. The cakes don’t taste the same anymore. It has an artificial taste. Standards are not consistent also as seen in the difference in sizes of two sugar rolls. Found that to be amusing when I opened my box. Sadly no longer a decent tea time snack. Can taste the cheaper ingredients used.
Bobby PotatoI usually love Polar Puffs & Cakes, but today’s visit to Junction 8 was a letdown. I experienced a complete lack of basic politeness from the staff member behind the cake display (no name tag). Being asked spoken to in a hostile tone mind you whilst unprovoked, was shocking. Shoutout to Shahida at the counter for being the saving grace of this visit at least she was really polite and had manners. I hope this was just a one-off bad day for the other staff member, but I’m sharing my receipt here so management can address the unprofessional demeanor I encountered if you guys even bother. To that particular staff: if you are not having a good day, don't take it out on others. Everyone has their own shit they are going through. If you're not happy then go home, simple as that.
