After two visits, experiencing different cuisines each time, I can confidently say this place delivers one of the most memorable dining experiences I have had in a very long time. What impressed me most was how the buffet experience went beyond just eating. It became an appreciation of authentic Malay cuisine, flavours, presentation, and the joy of personalising every serving. Every dish was already delicious on its own, yet the experience of curating your own plate made it even more enjoyable. Huge compliments to Chef Mel Dean — your passion and creativity truly shine through every dish. Absolutely outstanding! The ambience deserves special praise as well. The combination of modern elegance with warm kampong-inspired vibes creates a rare atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and comforting at the same time. Most importantly, the hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. From the communication before the appointment to the attentiveness throughout the dining experience, the service team displayed professionalism, warmth, and genuine care towards me, my family, and my guests. Special shout-out to Zul and Rinna — you both elevated the entire experience with your excellent service and wonderful hospitality. Truly magnifico! This is more than just a restaurant visit — it is an experience worth remembering and returning to. Highly recommended without hesitation.

Permata Singapore is a buffet I would gladly return to, especially for the variety and value. The rotating themes make each visit feel different and the Flavours of Malacca spread had plenty of comforting local dishes to enjoy. We liked the satay, laksa, chili crab and tulang merah, and the DIY kueh pie tee station added a fun touch to the experience. Dessert was another highlight, especially the serawa durian which was rich, fragrant and not too sweet. A very satisfying halal buffet with lots of local flavours and great for family gatherings.
