R TanFirst time trying pepper lunch. I ordered their japanese cheese curry w prawns and scallops, added broccoli and corn. The serving portion is v generous 😀😀😀.. I was hesitant to pour the curry into the entire tray, seeing my hesitation, 1 of their staff quickly handed me a small bowl and advised that i could dish out portions of the food to eat w the curry. Overall v satisfied w my dining experience there. I will be back 😃😃😃
Xiang linI have been a regular customer at Pepper Lunch and have always enjoyed the chicken pepper rice. However, my recent experience was very disappointing. When my meal was served today, I was shocked by the extremely small portion of meat. For a set meal priced at $18.80, the amount provided felt unreasonably small. This is not the first time I have experienced such inconsistency, which makes it even more disappointing. It honestly felt careless and not up to the standard I usually expect from this restaurant.
Angel TigUnderstand pictures in menu (this one from its website) are for illustration only. But the difference in the meat portion between picture and actual is too alarming! Beef pepper rice for $8+ and Jumbo Beef pepper rice for $11+. Shrinkflation is too real at Pepper Lunch. No longer value for money. And there was no soup also. On a positive note, AMK Hub outlet has high ceiling which allows for good ventilation amidst the sizzling hot plates around.
