Ivan Michael PungHere’s my review on Pasta 🍝 Mania 👩🏻🍳 Pronto – Toa Payoh. Restaurant – It was dinner time 🕡and it was really quiet with hardly any patrons. (See my pics 📸 and video 📹) Love ❤️ the design of the place, smart use of colours, it made the place very vibrant and funky. Place was clean 🫧🧼, well lighted 🔦. Staff – Only 2️⃣ staff operated the entire place. One is in the kitchen 🧑🏼🍳cooking and the other is outside serving 💁🏻♀️or rather assembling the orders onto a tray for us to collect. They are friendly 😊 but we had minimum interactions because this is another scan QR code 📲and self-order restaurant. No one will come by and run the daily promotions to you. 😔 Food – All else aside, it was disappointing 😩. It was served in a disposal container, the pasta 🍝was too wet, and the food wasn’t exactly fantastic. The two pastas + one pizza 🍕ran a bill of $41. And fair enough, there is no service charge, so you collect and clear the tray on your own. My take is this : If you want to run a scan down version of the restaurant but price it above the coffeeshops western, then you have to deliver the goods. I ate out of a disposal container (It was a beautiful container by the way) and the food was bland. I suggest you review the whole fast food concept again because I was not impressed by the experience.
hashiraExcellent service. The cute lady with the very nice looking high bun is very good and very friendly. Her service is exceptional. Her cooking is exceptional. The aglio is perfect. She knows her stuff. When it’s busy she’s trying her best and is very hardworking. Please keep this gem of a worker. One of a kind worker. 10/10 service. Will come and patronise this outlet often to show her support. Highly recommend this outlet for quick and easy meal. Do come and support them!
Amanda KohVisited during dinner time, but the restaurant was quite empty. Unfortunately, the pasta was rather bland, and there was still a noticeable amount of pasta water in the paper bowl, with the sauce unevenly poured over it. The mozzarella cheese sticks were overly deep‑fried mushy flour dough with absolutely no cheese flavour at all. The restaurant’s ventilation was very poor. There is a Texas Chicken outlet next door, and after leaving Pastamania, I noticed a strong fried‑chicken smell on my clothes. The meal cost S$20, which felt quite pricey for the overall quality. I remember that they used to serve budget‑friendly and decent‑tasting pasta, but it seems that the standard has declined over the years. With this level of quality, it may be challenging to remain competitive in the F&B industry That said, the waitress was helpful and attentive when serving my food.
