Dean LeeJust came by and wanted a Student meal as I was turning 24 this year on August and promotion stated “23 AND below” This fine gentlemen behind the cashier took out a calculator and continued to debate that I am above the age to purchase that meal and showed a very poor attitude when i was trying to explain the meaning of “23 and below” that it did not meant “below 23”. I am very disappointed that I could not get my quick simple meal even though I was of the right age and category as a student. For further clarifications, by all means to check my eligibility. But I hope you do something about this poor behaviour in ur staff.
Lynn Lin[edit 1 May 2026] been visiting weekly and Sya has always been polite and friendly to take my order at the cashier despite being busy with packing takeaway orders. She is attentive and could remember my order over time as I frequent the outlet often and also remembered I would ask for glass of warm water usually. It’s the little details and friendliness that made the ordering and dining experience better. Its great that Chai Chee ESR branch has Sya who is polite and attentive to customers orders despite her being busy with packing takeaway orders and also clearing up tables promptly. [1st review] Would like to compliment Zul (asked for his name as he does not have a name tag) at ESR chai chai branch. He has been hardworking to clear up the tables, taking orders, packing food for food delivery riders and despite being busy, he took note of the special requirements of my order correctly and remained polite to customers when taking orders at the counter. His hardworking behaviour was observed during my visits to this branch and he is a valuable staff who puts in his best to be quick and polite despite having to multi-task.
Khye Shyien ChaiManager Kit provided excellent service. Ordered a pizza and didn’t realised their recipe changed and he went out of the way to change the pizza without mayo on top so that my kids are able to eat it. Thanks!
