CaldorHad dinner here and have to admit, Pastamania is generally consistent in its food that I would term reasonably priced and taste that you would come to expect - simple and not too exquisite. Had couple of their pastas and baked rice and also their soup set which comes with the soup, garlic bread and a drink. Had the soup after seeing the staff serving the garlic bread and just had a craving after another recent experience at another restaurant. But the soup came pretty late in the meal as they were preparing the bread, thus nearly completed the pastas already. Unfortunately soup was less, watery and bland thus not the best experience. Pastas etc were all pretty usual, in my opinion, simple and casual italian outing. But still, overall experience was still pleasant as the staff were really polite and responsive. Guess they exemplify their theme of casual dining.
OrangeNov 2025 Love their new revamp of the area. Spaghetti is as usual nice, tomyam flavoured. Pizza and chicken wings can skip. Cheese sticks are also nice when it’s hot. March 2026 Went there on a wk end evening and it was packed. Tried their lasagna was salty. Had our usual Tomyam pasta which was overly salty. Such a disappointment. Everything felt off. As though the chef put the seasoning twice.
Desmond LimThe standard of Pastamania seems to have dropped quite significantly. It has been some time since I have meals at Pastamania, but I used to eat almost every other day. Definitely tasted nicer back then. I ordered Alfredo and Carbonara. Carbonara lack of taste and very bland. Alfredo tasted like Aglio Olio, too much garlic taste to it! But the appetiser garlic bread was made to perfection. So perfect that I expect the main course to be nicer. Sadly, it wasn't the case. Please improve on your pastas. I can get a way better pasta if I top up a few bucks at other restaurants. Service level was excellent though.
