Lyla (ZL)Not the first time visiting here, and we have tried various desserts before, with the quality being consistent across outlets. However, we had a rather hilarious moment that left us speechless. We were here to celebrate our family birthday with a dark chocolate pistachio whole cake. We had pre-ordered and reserved it at the store for later collection in the evening. However, we later decided to dine in instead. Upon collection of the cake, the staff (an Indian lady at the counter) did not clarify our pre-order. Even after we presented the receipt, she still seemed unsure and told us there were no more cakes available. We then approached a more senior staff member who came out from the kitchen and helped rectify the issue. After collecting the cake and being seated, we went back to the counter to ask for cutlery and plates. The staff initially told us there were no plates available, which left us quite confused. We explained that we were dining in and needed utensils to eat the cake. Another staff member then came over, understood the situation, and provided us with plates. From our perspective as customers, all seven of us felt that the customer service could be improved. It is okay to be new, but the communication should be more tactful, and such situations should not happen. As a side note, we previously worked full-time in F&B, so we feel this is something that could be improved to better meet the usual service standards.
*Clawgey1852*Popped into the NEX outlet and was impressed by the variety. They have a great "Buy 4 Get 5 Free" deal on selected items like the Big Choco Twist ($4.70) which is a steal. Aside from the usual breads, they have a solid range of ready-to-go meals like pasta and salad bowls ($13.90 range) which are very fresh. The store is well-organized and the staff are quick at the counters. Highly recommend the almond croissant crackers if you want something light and crunchy!
Belle HA cup of cappucino with cakes. We were bless to have someone give up her seat just in time when we arrived. We had a good time with good waitress serving us. An elderly hanfling cashier with the young girl assistance. They both handled it well, quick and efficient. They seem to understand my need whenever i ask question. Small space and table which i believe expect quick tabke turnover. Pleasant experience. Thank you for serving us.
