really enjoyed my spicy chicken panuozzo (which was llike a sandwich made with sourdough pizza crust) ($9.80). the sourdough was impressive, being freshly fired in a wood oven upon order. the texture was impeccable, fluffy and chewy. i also liked that it is thinner than usual sandwich bread (and more like a pita/pizza). the fillings also tasted very fresh / unprocessed. marinated spicy chicken breast, leafy vegetables, and melted cheese. good for those into eating clean. i think small eaters would be sufficiently satiated without any food coma, but for bigger eaters (like myself) you may need an afternoon snack lol

Truly the best affordable yet high quality Italian food! Unlike the myriads of copycat pasta and pizza places that saturates this price point, Pazonia stands out by carving a niche for itself by taking on Italian streetfood. They specialise in their in-house made sourdough which anchors their menu options. With a significant variety of Panuozzo and Pizzas alongside a small selection of calzones and Painino paired with a variety of add ons you can do, there will be something for everyone. We specially made our way down on new year's eve near closing and were delighted to find that they were still opened when almost the whole CIMB Plaza was already closed. The shop was small and intimate with few seats but takeaway was available. We quickly placed our order for their Prosciutto Funghi Calzone and La Mortazza Panuozzo at the self service kiosk amd sat down to wait. Watching them make it in their Pizza oven was truly not something I would expect at this price point. After waiting for a short while, we recived our order. Prosciutto Funghi Calzone: The crust was thin and well baked with obvious leoparding from the high heat pizza oven. Cutting it opened released a lot of steam, revealing its interior of Tomato Sauce & Mozzarella with Prosciutto Cotto and Oyster Mushrooms (i think?). Everything was well balanced with the acidity of the tomato sauce balancing out the saltiness of the prosciutto with the mushroom abosrbing all the juices. The cheese pull from the generous helping of Mozzarella was glorious too. The only feedback I would have is thay the filling was slightly too watery causing the interior to be soggy. This could be due to the mushrooms not being pan seared enough to cook off most of their liquids or the tomato sauce being too watery. Nonetheless it was a very enjoyable warm and comforting handheld experience. La Mortazza Panuozzo: Similarly the folded Pizza crust was nicely done with a nice leoparding. The flavours here were stellar. Generously filled with salty and spiced Mortadella that has pistachios for a slight nuttiness, fresh tomatoes, creamy ricotta, fresh zesty and peppery arugula and pesto, every component played their part to elevate and lift each other up. As you bite and chew on it, the complexity develops as each of them could be tasted distinctly. Overall it is a very well done classic that was very enjoyable and delicious! Not much can be said apart from I will definitely come down again! I hope the prices stay low in the future and keep to their goal of serving affordable yet such amazingly high quality Italian streetfood in Singapore! Such places are definitely needed especially since quality Italian food are almost non existent at this price point.
