Markie GI would like to express my appreciation for the outstanding service of Wenz and Liz, excellent food during my visit. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and highly professional, making the entire dining experience enjoyable from start to finish. The food was exceptional — beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavour. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and exceeded expectations. It was clear that great care and attention went into both the quality of the cuisine and the overall guest experience. Thank you to the entire team of The Lobby Lounge for the warm hospitality and memorable dining experience. I look forward to visiting again and will highly recommend this place to friends and family.
PKToday we visited Lobby Lounge again for lunch after church with my wife to have a little celebration of Mother’s Day (although our daughter who happens to love Shangri-la is overseas for a while). We did not have a reservation when we came around 11.40 and was informed the place was fully booked and may need to wait for 30m-1hr. To our surprise, in around 20min,we were called that there was a table. There was an offer of semi-buffet for SG$88 too which we took because the food look delicious, though it was actually a little too much for our tummy. We could have consumed less but who could refuse some nice buffet anyway. Our own problem for sure. We patronize Shangri-la in general, but what made today special is the people who served us and being the utmost is Mr. Wenz who looks to be a man of service with a great attitude and we are always grateful to meet such kind of person in the hospitality industry, a rate gem in a place where the demand is high and the pressure is not easy. We thank him for his generous kindness towards us the guests. We are just nobody but the service given to us is wondefully excellent. Alongside him are no less fantastic people such as Liz and Ysa. Please convey our thanks for their dedicated service. As for the variety of food, we are satisfied, not too many but not too little. The taste is great, but probably a little feedback from my wife about her Bak Chor Mee that the salty fish can thinner 😊. The rest is great and excellent. We surely come back.
Carl ChengGreat lunch at The Lobby Lounge in Shangri-La Singapore. The setting is luxurious and very comfortable, with super high ceilings and beautiful garden views, making the whole dining experience feel very relaxing. We had the Hainanese chicken rice, bak kut teh, claypot fried Hokkien mee, and old Amoy chendol, and everything was delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy, the bak kut teh was full of herbal flavour, the Hokkien mee was rich and tasty, and the chendol was smooth and sweet. A lovely place for a special family meal.
