Stumbled upon One18 Bakehouse while caught in the rain after lunch at another café along the same row ...and what a lovely find 😊 We were greeted warmly, with the staff kindly explaining the different pastries and croissants available. Bought home the Nutella, pistachio, Biscoff, and apple crumble pastries for takeaway. The prices were really good too, definitely worth it for the size and taste. Great bargains! We got 4 pastries for $20, plus 3 mini croissant rolls for $10. For dine-in, we tried the satay croissant and pain au chocolat. The pastries were wonderfully flaky and crispy, and everything was nicely warmed before serving. Definitely made the whole experience even better ✨

Review is only for the food as I didn’t dine in at the establishment - The croissant has a nice exterior design, they have interesting flavours as well. This one is the satay flavour, which was decent but also just an average tasting croissant honestly. Perhaps other flavours are better?

I made a booking through One18 website last week, but somehow didn't go through even though I had the confirmation page. When I visited the shop at near 1pm today, i was shocked to hear that the buffet doesn't start till 715pm due to Ramadan. The shop assistant contacted the owner who kindly accommodated us. I brought my 3 kids here who were so excited about the buffet, luckily they weren't disappointed. Kudos to the flexible and warm service! The shop assistant was very smiley and warm. The food is very good! The quiches are cheesy and gooey yet very flakey on the outside. The savoury croissants pack a punch. The sambal wasn't too spicy, goes well with the flakey croissant (very delicious after toasting), the chicken satay was good too. The assorted supreme croissants were generous with filling. My kids loved the Nutella one. The apple crumble, and pistachio were very good too. The mini cheesecakes at the side were good too (daughter had 2 of it). So was the creme brulee. It looked dry but it wasn't. The texture was creamy and soft. The iced coffee was refreshing too, esp on a hot day. We had a great time! Would visit their shop in future!
