Always walked past this old school snack shop on the way to IMM and smelled the fragrance of the herbal tea egg (茶叶蛋). Finally succumb to my temptations and bought two back. Best decision ever. Just look at the color and marbled patterns of the egg and you can tell how well it has been soaked with the spices. Also went for the chickpeas and they were amazing as well. Friendly auntie and her son running the stall. Saw them making tapioca cakes live at the stall as well. Happy to be adding a stall to my list so I know where I can go whenever I am craving for these old school pasar malam snacks!

Went past this shop, whole stretch is filled with their 茶叶蛋 smell. Bought 3 to try, and was utterly disappointed and disgusted. The egg is those pre-made 卤蛋 which many chicken rice stall uses, which i usually call them "fake egg" because the texture is so dry and hard. Definitely not 茶叶蛋, felt scammed.

Old time has been my regular snack/munch stall at ng teng feng building. I always patronise the tapioca kueh. I bought 15pcs yesterday and paid by paynow. Unfortunately it tasted weird and not like the usual taste. My family also feel that it tasted weird and discard all of it. Kindly look into it. Thank you! I tried to called the number posted on the website but to no avail.
