Bare in mind I travel all around the world by my own, not paid promote by sponsor and I have been visited Delhi, Mumbai & Hyderabad. Everytime I go there, I always randomly order local food through online applications and all was good, even great! When I came visit Singapore I try to find one and I got this restaurant as the best one regarding reviewers. So, I have very high expectations to try the food from this restaurant. Then, you know what? All drop, the food that I ordered as pictures attached, has inconsistency taste, not even meet “ok” standard. The atmosphere of restaurant was quiet, none coming, only me with my family. And the price? As you can see for both vegetarian biryani. So, Tourist, please think many times before you come here! Definitely will not come anymore! I don’t know why they have good review. Oh sorry, forget that nowadays so many paid reviewers 👌
We went there after reading so many positive reviews claiming it was the best biriyani in town, but honestly we were brutally disappointed. I really don’t understand how people call it the “best biriyani.” We ordered the mutton biriyani, and it didn’t taste like authentic mutton dum biriyani at all. It felt like plain rice and cooked mutton were just mixed together to make a biriyani. The mutton pieces were hard, and the spices were not blended properly into the rice. On top of that, the portion size was very small considering the price. We also ordered mango kulfi for my child. It came in a tiny cup and was frozen so hard like ice that he couldn’t even eat it at first. After we informed them, they served it on a plate and defrosted it a little, but it still didn’t taste like authentic mango kulfi. Because of that experience, we cancelled our second kulfi order as well. The atmosphere was clean and nice, but good ambience means nothing when the food is this disappointing. Very upsetting to see tourists being misled by overly positive reviews.
Tried this place recently and overall, it was a pretty satisfying experience. The highlight for me was definitely the lamb biryani , fragrant, well-spiced, and the rice was cooked just right. We also ordered a few sides the gravy dishes complemented the rice really well, Portion sizes were decent for the price, and the presentation was neat. Service was fairly quick, The ambience is simple but comfortable, good enough for a casual meal with family or friends.Overall, a solid spot if you’re craving good Indian food. Would definitely come back to try more dishes!
