hashley yeeHad an unpleasant experience at Old Chang Kee this evening. The service crew we encountered had a very poor attitude. Although it took quite a while for orders to be taken, which we patiently waited for. A fellow customer told us to queue from a different direction, so we followed suit. After waiting in line for some time, the Vietnamese staff member finally addressed us, only to tell us we were queuing wrongly and asked us to requeue from the back. What was frustrating was that she had clearly seen us queuing there the whole time but didn’t say anything until much later. When we explained that another customer had advised us to queue that way, she simply said, “That wasn’t me,” with no attempt to help or offer any solution. The attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. I understand that Old Chang Kee is often busy, but if this kind of customer service continues, it’s only a matter of time before it affects your reputation and sales. A little courtesy and communication go a long way.
