I went ytd to buy some for my colleague. I bought quite a lot 20s pieces. The auntie selling looked very impatience and after packing just pass the thing to you without saying even thank you. I think I appreciated other branches like Simei and oth the staffs even they are at older age they are friendly and approachable, unlike here.
Mee siam is pretty decent, it tasted better than some Malay stalls in the food court or hawker centre, but it is not the best. The gravy is pedas. The noodles portion is ok for $3 and it comes with hard boiled egg and 4 small tofu puffs. For the same thing at the coffeeshops can cost more. I dont know much about the aunty's mood that day, it looked fine.
Tried the 2023 chili crab mantou. The sauce had to be poured into the buns upon order. Will cost more if want the sauce to be packed separately. Caused the buns to be soggy. Not only that, the sauce is thick, not flavorful, dry and lumpy. Not recommended at all.
