Melvin J.Tried OK Chicken Rice and ordered takeaway steamed chicken with extra meat ($7.30). Honestly, after eating, maybe they should rename themselves to “Good Chicken Rice” instead of just “OK” 😄 The rice stood out, more gingery than usual, really fragrant. Chicken was decent and portion was fair for the price. I’m quite particular about chilli, and this one didn’t really hit the mark for me, lacking in punchy flavour. But overall still a satisfying meal. Service was friendly, which is always a plus 👍

Loo Zheng Rong$6.50 for their simplest plate of laksa with hum. Portion is not big but the hums are quite generous and fat. Soup base is ok but I still prefer the Chinese kind. Have xia mi but not enough I guess. Has half an egg, tao pok and fish cake, quite a lot of toppings. Slightly pricey in my opinion. No queue on sun afternoon, wait for food is about 5mins.
