Early morning stall owner already well prepared to serve. First time trying their fried penyet chicken rice in quarter protion chicken thighs. Serving was quite large and price at fair $5.50. Owner was polite and served with great smile. As for the fried penyet chicken, personally think it has a good crispy skin and tender meat. Unfortunately taste is slightly not that flavourful as it looks. And after take away, the rice turn quite oily and greasy, chilli was not fantastic to help the overall taste. Definitely not the best, not the must eat plate of cuisine. But with a good service attitude and reasonable pricing. It deserve a supports. 💥 Welcome to my food sharing Instagram: jkgourmets. 欢迎游览我的美食IG: jkgourmets

Decent crispy Nasi Ayam stall located in Army market food court. Affordable opinion for lunch in the area. Service was super friendly. However, wished rice and chicken had a kick to it. Pretty blend and the chilli didn’t help much. Will try other things on the menu next time though.

There are a few choices of the Ayam Penyet. So i chose the leg part. The whole chicken leg was smashed/flattened it (that's what penyet means) but it was further chopped to small strips. The chopping seems a bit unnecessary as there are broken bones bits when im trying to eat the chicken. Taste wise it's acceptable. I think the chicken will taste better if it's warmer. Probably should use some heating / warming device, or flash fry the chicken before serving. I think the chili can be better too.
